Firstly, tell us a little about yourself.
I’m Joseph Vincent Refalo, CEO at BetForge. My background spans various data-rich industries, including telecommunications, banking, and fintech. More recently, I have moved into iGaming and have held both technical and product leadership positions. Before being tapped for the CEO role, I had joined BetForge as its CTO, overseeing the buildout of platforms including GamePark and SightRush. My focus now is bringing this ecosystem to market, with BetForge as our incubator and operator-facing brand.
You are about to launch BetForge at SBC Lisbon – what is BetForge and why SBC Lisbon?
BetForge is our commercial gateway – an incubator for iGaming innovation that brings data-first platforms like GamePark and SightRush from ideation to market. We chose SBC Lisbon because it’s become the nexus of serious B2B iGaming, particularly for data-driven and AI-native operators. It has the right audience for the kind of platforms, intelligence, and value-add we offer.
Tell us a little about SightRush and GamePark, two of the brands underpinning BetForge.
SightRush is our data intelligence and automation layer. It powers smarter support, segmentation, and player journeys through real-time data and machine learning models, while leveraging the same data to power management and financial areas for our operators. GamePark, by contrast, is an AI-powered personalization engine focused on player engagement. It uses real-time signals and player-preference prediction modeling to recommend content which maximizes lifetime value. Both run on a shared architecture designed for personalization and operational intelligence.
How does BetForge utilize data and AI in its products?
Every product in the BetForge stack is architected around real-time data ingestion, predictive modeling, and actionable intelligence. We leverage streaming technologies, a shared feature store, and ML platforms to power everything from segmentation to personalized content and automated support. Data isn’t an add-on – it is the product.
You describe BetForge as an ‘incubator’ – what does this mean?
BetForge is not a traditional SaaS vendor – it’s a go-to-market incubator. We spin up modular, data-led products in-house and test them with strategic partners. Once validated, they’re scaled via direct selling through our network or embedded into partner platforms. This model allows us to stay lean, focused, and fast – without compromising innovation and quality.
